"Igor and the Eyesore"

Films: Victor Frankenstein (2015)

Alias: Henry Frankenstein

Type: Man-Made

Location: Civilized Area

Height/Weight: That of an average human.

Affiliation: Neutral

Summary: The tale of Frankenstein has been told many, many, many times before. Just last year, we were subject to "what if Frankenstein but Underworld" crockery. Now for the next year, we get "what if Frankenstein but Igor hot now".

History: Victor Frankenstein was always an eccentric sort. Hoping to use his scientific genius for the betterment of all mankind, he saved a hunchback from a circus, cured him of his deformity, and now has him as an assistant for his greatest creation. Basically, reanimating the dead. But Victor's new creation, dubbed Prometheus, is really just a means of bringing back in some way his dead brother Henry. And the further the experiment goes, Igor begins to realize that there are few boundaries that Victor won't cross to get the job done.

Notable Kills: Nothing special.

Final Fate: After being brought to life, Prometheus turns out to be a mindless mute beast, much to Victor's horror. After a small rampage, the being is brought down when both Victor and Igor stab his twin hearts. Victor lets Igor go, remorseful for his fruitless quest's results.

Powers/Abilities: Immune to most damage.

Weakness: Stabbing his twin hearts.

Scariness Factor: 4-Prometheus isn't alive for that long, but he makes quite an impression. He's a towering pasty-white brute covered in hideous stitches and bolts that lashes out like an animal upon being harmed. As Victor plainly put it upon seeing his life's work, this is not life.

Trivia: -This film bombed hard due to poor marketing and some really bad timing in terms of release dates. But there's a reason for that. Apparently, FOX intentionally sacrificed this film just so "The Martian" could get a leg up over it. Not the most ethical means of propping up a good movie, but it did work.

-Apparently, the original draft was much more complex and nuanced, with characters not just being cardboard cutouts and such. Is there a draft where Igor, you know, STAYS a hunchback for most of the film?
